K. STITCH PRINTING 1-15 D Students test themselves with the Key Word vowel pieces. First, students write in the air while they focus on the vowel piece that is in stitch writing. They turn the page to write in the air, but this time they have to remember what the Key Word is.
L. STITCH PRINTING 16- 40 D This is a continuation to develop skills for analyzing spelling pieces. Students practice on one page by writing in air while verbalizing the vowel pattern, vowel piece, and Key Word. They then turn to the next page and test themselves on the Key Word.
M. TEACHER'S MASTERS FOR CONTENT CLUES 1-40 D This is a condensed version for reading a story, finding Study Words, and writing the words from the story that match the vowel piece and vowel sound. On the backside of the sheet that the TEACHER ran off, the student sketches the story in sequential order and gets training with : first, next, then, after that, and at the end.
N. TEACHER'S ANSWERS COMPREHENSION 1-40 D These answers are used after the students have read their booklet for each of the 40 lessons and then marked their comprehension answers in another booklet.
O. STUDENTS READ SENTENCES TO BE TESTED 1-40 D Students read the word, phrases, and sentences noting the vowel patterns, and information. The students talk through the lesson's vowel piece at the top of the lesson and then verbalize it in each of the in the word section. They read a phrase silently and then read it out loud. Repeat procedure for the sentences.
P. STUDENTS ANSWER COMPREHENSION QUESTIONS 1-40 D Students re-read a sentence from their reading booklet. They then use their Comprehension Booklet and circle the answer. Repeat for the ten questions in each lesson.
